Your cap size starts from one measurement: the circumference of your head. Each collection has its own chart.

Atelier ready-to-ship caps are made at 21.5″, 22.5″ and 23.5″, and each can be taken in to your own number, by up to an inch, around and front to nape, for a $10 add-on. Atelier custom has no sizes: the cap is cut to your circumference, front to back and ear to ear. Signature also comes in Extra small, under 20″, and Extra large, above 23″. We set both to your actual measurement. Every Archive piece lists its own cap.

On the Atelier, you are not. Each size covers a full inch (Small 20.5–21.5″, Medium 21.5–22.5″, Large 22.5–23.5″), so choose the one your number falls in. It is made at the top of that range; wear it as made, or we take it in to your exact number for a $10 add-on. On Signature, take the larger and give us your number: we set the cap to it. A cap can be taken in, never let out.

Eight in ten of our orders have needed no cap-size adjustment. The scan takes the measurements; a person sizes every wig by hand before it is built. On a first order an adjustment may still be needed.

Yes. When you start a scan you can enter your measurements by hand, and we will build to those. The Size Guide shows how to take all four with a soft tape.

Cap size is part of our free adjustments. Write to us with your order number and your measurement and we make it right with you. A cap cannot be let out, so if it is too small, we work out the right fit together. Later on, a cap that is too large can still be taken in by the Studio.

Yes. When you build an Atelier wig, choose “No hair to prep”. It is our alopecia fit: the cap is measured to sit on your bare head rather than over braids or a bun.

Glueless wigs are held by an adjustable elastic band, with no adhesive at all, so they come on and off in seconds. An adjustable strap on the band sets the fit, and a silicone lining can be added to every wig type.

Glueless wear. It uses no adhesive, it is the easier method to learn, and it is the one to choose for sensitive skin. If you have questions about your own scalp, a stylist can talk it through with you in a free consultation.

Four: Transparent, Light Brown, Medium Brown and Dark Brown. Dark Brown is offered on the 13×6 frontal only. ONE SCAN reads your skin tone, and a stylist matches your lace to your skin rather than to a swatch chart.

Slowly. Glue comes off with a remover and patience, never with a pull. Taking a wig off is the part that does the damage. There are three removal films in the Care Guide.

It depends on which house you order from. Our Shipping page lists each one, counted from the day you order, with the date it should reach you.

Yes. It is part of the free adjustments. Lace Color Matching in the Studio is a different service: when the hair on a replacement lace piece isn't colored, we color it to match your wig.

Every wig we make is 100% virgin Remy human hair. Signature is sourced from Southeast Asia. The Atelier is sourced from Mongolia, Brazil or India: you choose which, and it is one of the seven points of your build.

We work with skilled stylists to construct our wigs, including in Palm Springs, California. Every wig is customized in the United States by a US-based stylist before it ships, to ensure the fit and the finish.

Wash it every 7 to 10 wears: detangle dry, clarify with cool water, moisturize, then deep condition for at least 20 minutes with heat. Air dry on a stand, never on a heat setting. Store it on a stand, never in a plastic bag.

Yes. Your first Atelier or Signature wig is 25% off, on the whole order, cut included. Your first Studio service is 15% off.
