Three wigs laid inside out on a linen work table, showing the inside of each cap: a wefted stretch cap with an elastic band, a cap with an HD lace panel at the front, and a cap with blonde wefts sewn in rows. A tape measure, pins and tailor's scissors lie beside them.

An Atelier wig is built on one of two caps; a Signature style on a closure or a frontal. The difference is how much lace sits at the front, and that decides where you can part your hair and how your hairline reads.

13x6 Frontal

A sheet of fine HD lace runs across the front of the cap, 13 inches from ear to ear and 6 inches back from the hairline. Behind it, the hair is sewn in rows onto a stretch cap. It gives you the most freedom: part it anywhere across the lace, deep to one side, or wear it off your face.

Inside of a 13x6 Frontal cap, seen from the back: a dark stretch cap with rows of wefts, a black elastic band with wavy grip lines, an adjustable strap, and a comb at the nape.
    The lace
HD lace, 13 inches across and 6 inches deep, from ear to ear at the front. No lace at the nape.
    Parting
Anywhere within the lace: a middle part, a side part, or a deep side part. Six inches of depth means you can sweep it back.
    Hairline
Lace along the whole front, ear to ear, so the hairline reads soft from every angle.
    Inside
    • Wide adjustable elastic band with silicone grip lines
    • Adjustable strap at the back
    • One comb at the nape; side combs on request; every comb can be removed
    • Bendable ear tabs
    Silicone
Silicone lining can be added on request, free.
    Wear
Glueless. Adhesive at the hairline is optional, if you want extra hold at the front.

    11x5.5 Absolute Glueless

A panel of HD lace sits at the front, 11 inches across and 5.5 inches back. Everywhere else is a wefted stretch cap, with no lace at the sides or the nape. Less lace to look after, more cap holding the wig in place.

      Who it suits

Hair loss and alopecia. A smaller lace area means less to lay and look after, and the wefted cap covers the rest. Add silicone lining for grip where you want it.

      03 · Signature

Signature: a closure or a frontal.

Most Signature styles are made as a 5x5 HD Lace Closure or a 13x6 Frontal. The difference is how much lace sits at the front, and how freely you can part it. Every Signature style is made for you in 15 business days.
